YURT DECK REFINISH

Refinishing a 30 year old deck is not always fun, but the end result is certainly worth the effort.

As the deck was so custom, care was taken in tracking the location of every board so that it could be put back together correctly. This entailed a system of stacking that had to be maintained throughout the entire process as multiple passes through the planer were required for every board.

While it was expected, the rot found in the supporting structure was extensive and required a large portion to be replaced.
